DUBINSKI: Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, Dubinski are four inseparable siblings: Eugene, Fergus, Donal and Eoin Gaine. Originally from the remote green hills of North Yorkshire, the Gaine brothers spent their childhood in atmospheric and social isolation. A shared love of music was the common thread amongst the four, so they spent their adolescent years writing and performing songs for the sheer joy of it. Eventually the brothers moved to Edinburgh, having decided to raise the bar of their childhood music ‘hobby’ to make a proper go of it. Taking on the band name Dubinski (their late mother’s maiden name), the band recorded their debut album at RAK Studios in London, working with Grammy Award winning producers/engineers. Having recently released the eponymous album worldwide through Gnu Roam (Kartel Music Group), Dubinski have now taken their high-energy show on the road as an international touring act and are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album, to be released in January 2025.

ABOLISH GOLF: Abolish Golf are a three-piece band based in Edinburgh who make danceable, punky indie music. Originally part of scene staple The Party Slogan, guitarist Jamie, bassist Cameron and drummer Calum have refined the melodic craft of their previous outfit while crafting a more frantic and confrontational sound with Abolish Golf that relies more on electronic elements, and still retaining their new wave and post-punk influences. Their new single “The Wards”, released 27/12/23 is a stark reflection of this, and is the first to be taken from their new EP, coming early next year.

PELOWSKA: ’This song truly is a masterpiece,' is how BBC Music Introducing described PELOWSKA’s first single, ‘Overrated’, written twice from scratch after the female music producer, singer, and lyricist Aneshka spilled a whole glass of wine on her laptop, losing all the music she painstakingly wrote during long months of lockdown. Rather than succumbing to despair after the catastrophe, Aneshka, joined by her friend and fellow musician Dave Tynan, channeled their passion into creating music that delves into the realms of mental health, identity, and shattering barriers.

PELOWSKA's compositions have reverberated through the airwaves, with BBC Introducing playing every band's single to date, securing a coveted spot in Amazing Radio's rotation (over eight weeks of playing the band’s single 'Safety' every day), and earning repeated airplay in Australia and the US. Despite boasting only a handful of songs, the duo has amassed 3 quarters of a million streams on Spotify so far and garnered tens of thousands of views on YouTube for their music videos.

Reflecting on her experiences performing alongside artists such as the legends of Polish rock Lady Pank, electronic act Errors or Wyckham Portoeus of Captain Beefheart, Aneshka emphasises the profound impact of music on shaping perspectives and fostering change. 'I believe it's time to infuse more hope into people's lives,' she declares. Describing the band as 'two pals writing music to make you feel better,' Aneshka envisions PELOWSKA as a source of solace and inspiration for all.
